The Most Chronic Disease of Childhood is Dental Caries, or

Has your child been to the dentist yet?
I admit I am guilty of not adhering to the "first visit at first tooth" rule, but I didn't wait until my kids were in kindergarten either.
Even though they are baby teeth, they still need to be brushed and flossed just like your adult permanent teeth. Ignoring dental caries does not make them go away, and often times will cause a bigger problem to arise like an abscess.
So find a Pedodontist (or just use your general family dentist) and have your child's teeth cleaned asap.
